About us
Tena's Dayhome, located for 17 yrs in the Hamptons community. Here we believe that every child is unique and deserves individualized attention and care. We encourage creativity, exploration, and learning through play, and we strive to foster a lifelong love of learning in every child. I enjoy working closely with families to create an extension of home envoirment.
About Me
- I have been working in childcare for 30+ yrs.
- Level 1 in early childhood w/ 12hours of annual training
- Extensive experience with children of varying needs including those with specialized care / diagnosis.
- Clear record checks, including vulnerable sector & child intervention.
- Current CPR and first aid training.
My Home
I offer a wide range of care to meet the needs of children from infancy through school age. We are a busy home with wide age ranges. We enjoy outings, crafts, open ended play, summer camping trip for school age kids and so much more.
